As a civilian trials officer with MOD(N) CWTA, I worked on the original SCOT 1 terminal, and then subsequently on many ships in the fleet, on both SCOT 1, 1a and 2. I did the acceptance trials, both harbour and sea, for many years, until I retired 26 years ago!.
ReplyDeleteIncluded in my ships trials was the SCOT fit on loan to the French Navy, on the D'Estree in 1977. The trials were carried out in Toulouse in the (famous) summer of 1977.
Happy days!
